"It had the format of a fashion show, but it
was sort of more of an extravaganza than just an ordinary catwalk degree
show. Everyone in the
audience stood up and gave it a standing ovation and my models wouldn’t
get off the catwalk. They had to stop the music because the next lot
were ready to get on but then my lot wouldn’t come off and people
started throwing flowers and everything. I had a bit of a fan base in
